"You can either allow them to create your social presence for you or you can
take control of it. "I do agree with the information this blog informs, because many people nowadays rely on the technology. Examples like: texting instead of calling, researching online instead of reading, etc. People go online so much that they should be able to judge a person by their profile and online presence. It does not define a certain person or rule over peoples' social presence.
The world can be so caught up or obsessed with technology that it is very reliable and compatible with just about everything. It relates to school, friends, researching, and anything else that may be part of the daily life.

PLN 11- Who's Controlling your Profile?
I was looking through The Thinking Stick blog when I saw an eye-catching article titled, "Who's Controlling your Profile?" by Jeff Utecht. This blog is about basically being able to control the social presence you have online. Throughout the internet, there will be many websites that might create of reputation of who you are. Some websites include myspace or facebook in others' profiles. This not only applies to students, but also to teachers too. Schools attempt to control social presences online, but blocking them will not help.

Jackie you did a really good job because you relating the articles to yourself but look up more and make better tranisions between posts
Jackie, I think you did a really good job on your presentation. Things you might want to work on would be more eye contact and talking louder and clearer. Other then that great job!
Jackie, you had a good presentation. Try to look up more and not just read your PLN's. You were loud enough to hear and had good PLN's. Good job!
Jackie, I thought you did a pretty good job. You read from your notes so try not to do that anymore. Make sure you speak clearly and loud. You made good connections and showed your opinion. Next time just make sure you make good eye contact and not read from your notes.
Jackie-You need to make way more eye contact because it seemed like you just read from your paper. You spoke very clearly and have good articles and good connections. Other than that good job.
Good presentation. Good poitns and explination. You also spoke loudly and clearly which is a good thing to help everyone understand. Next time try to use your note cards just as a guide. Good Job though.
Jackie, you did a great job on your presentation. I liked the articles you talked about and how you related to them. You need to have a little more eye contact with the audiance. Good job
Jackie, try to look up from your notes more and don't just read straight from them. You did a good job on telling your opinion on your PLN's. Good Job!
Jackie, you did so well on your presentation. Try to make a little more eye contact with us, and don't rely so much on your note cards. However, other than that, you did great. You spoke loud and clear and made excellent personal and world points. Keep up the good work.
Jackie, you had a very good presentation. You looked at your articles alot but you still kept great eye contact. You had an interesting PLNs to talk about.good job:)
btw-wats that tv digital thing?
I think you need to look at the audience a little more. You talked a little bit fast not really. But other than you did a really good job!
Jackie I thought you did a good job telling us what you thought about the your PLN's and connected to them very well.
Jackie,
I agree that the sniffing sharpie storie is pretty reidiculous, but you have a good point about the safety of children. Interesting ideas on the last two blogs. My avice is talking a little clearer and looking up more. Good job!
I don't think that the boy should have been suspended, he didn't know right from wrong. I also think that people should not use IM and text lingo. I think people need to become obsessed with technology because it is changing so much each and every day so it's important to stay caught up. Great presentation!
Jackie, your PLN presentation was good, but next time you could speak a little more clearly and give a little more eye contact. good job!
You did a really good job on your presentation. Next time you should run through your presentation a little more because you used your notes a lot.
