PLN 17- Teen boy hurt in drop from 2nd story at school

I was looking through the Denver Post blog and I found an article called Teen boy hurt in drop from 2nd story at school. In this article it talks about a 14 year old boy from Rocky Heights Middle School that jumped or fell from a second story. The boy's injuries were not too serious or life-threatening. Officials are still figuring out on how this happened and what caused it.

This is a important article because many kids are injured today; whether its falling off a bike or falling off a building. I think that parents need to watch over their kids more and not let them do whatever they want. Little things can cause big injuries or even a life-threatening one; sports can also cause long term injuries. I think we need to be careful in all that we do, because we never know what might happen.

Jackie, you did an awesome job. Try and make a little more eye contact, when you look down, it makes it hard to hear you. Great job relating your personal opinion in your pln's. Keep working on the eyecontact, but other than that, terrific job!

Good job Jackie, you did a good job with your presentation. I agreed with many of your points, but next time, try not to rely on your paper so much. Other than that, good job.

Jackie, I thought you did a very good job in your presentation. One thing you need to work on is not reading from your paper, you should just use your paper as backup. maybe try to relate your blogs to us so we stay interested. Good job though.

You did a good job at looking at your audience. You kind of slurred your word at times but spoke loud. You did a good job at explaining you plns and kept the audience attention. Good job!

Jackie! I agree with you about taking your own pictures when you go places. Because if you don't have the pictures saved somewhere, other then your memory, you will hardly remember the trip you went on. I think its crazy how many kids die from just alone not wearing their seatbelts. That's crazy how bad the fire is in California. I think that the firemen should try to contaian the fire and save the lives of the people. I don't think its a good idea to be put in a bubble because like what Angelica said, when its time for the real world, we won't be ready, and we'll fail. Great Job!

Jackie,
For your PLN entries, your ideas are very good, though they could be longer. But you presented very well. Not much else to say,... Good Job!
Question:
I think that being put in a bubble isn't that great of an idea because you won't be as prepared for your future.
