PLN 16- "We can't stop it," say Calif. fire crews

I read an article called "We can't stop it," say Calif. fire crews in the Denver Post blog. In this article, it talks about the more then dozen of the wildfires spreading all across Southern California. The strong winds made the fire much worse and made the fires unstoppable. This fire has injured more then 45 people including 21 firefighters. It had burned nearly 600 square miles and destroying more then 1,300 homes, and evacuated more then 500,000 people away. The firefighters are not trying to fight the fire but doing their best to save buildings.

I thought that this was really sad that many wildfires have been lasting so long in California and destroying many homes. I think its a good idea that the firefighters are trying more to save the bulidings rather then stopping the fire, because the winds are just making the fire unstoppable. And I think people should try to make fires stop in dry areas even before they start; the dry grasses are the start of most wildfires.

This relates to all around the world , because in many dry places, fires will always start. It is depressing to see the fires burn all the beautiful nature. Fires will happen, but people should start something to prevent them from happening.
